Director of e-commerce business development at the Polish branch of Mastercard Europe.

She is responsible for the strategy and implementation of the company’s activities in the area of e-commerce card acceptance network development and business cooperation with clearing agents and trading partners. She is also responsible for building a better experience for customers using card payments in e-commerce.

Daria joined Mastercard in 2011 as Customer Delivery Manager, responsible for the technical implementation of the company’s new products and services in the Polish market. Among other things, she was responsible for an innovative project to implement the first mobile payments.

Daria Auguścik has 17 years of experience in the payments industry. She started her career at ING Bank Slaski in the payment cards department. There she was responsible for card products; she implemented EMV technology and contactless payment technology for debit and credit cards in the Bank. She holds a degree in economics from the University of Economics in Katowice in international finance and banking.
