One of the most experienced and recognized leaders in the media industry. As President & Managing Director of Warner Bros. Discovery Poland and CEO of TVN Kasia Kieli leads the expansion and growth of the media group’s channels, streaming platforms, and digital ecosystem in the country. Warner Bros. Discovery has a leading position in the media market in Poland – its daily viewership regularly reaches over 14 million, and its channels attract an audience of over 34 million people a month. The Group’s channels are leaders in their individual thematic categories: entertainment, news, sports, lifestyle, and others.

From 2017 to 2022, as President and Managing Director of Discovery EMEA, Kasia Kieli headed up the company’s business in 140 markets. She was responsible for the implementation of the global strategy of dynamic development of the company and managed a portfolio of 50 channel brands as well as a suite of direct-to-consumer products and services in the region. Kieli has successfully led many mergers and acquisitions – in 2018, she spearheaded the integration with Scripps Networks Interactive in Europe including taking over direct leadership over TVN, #1 broadcaster in Poland, and thus creating the single biggest international market for Discovery. She also successfully oversaw the integration and acquisition of Eurosport in 2015. Kasia Kieli joined Discovery and founded the Polish office in 2000. Her team, composed of two members at the time, today consists of over 4,200 people and Warsaw has grown into one of the most important Warner Bros. Discovery locations in Europe and in the world.

Kieli is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. She also has an MBA and degree from the University of Calgary and an American History degree from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana (U.S.) where she lectured for some time. She was included in the prestigious Forbes Women’s “50 Over 50” ranking in 2022 and listed amongst “100 Women of the Year” in 2020.
