LETO, which has been in existence since 2007, is one of the most important private galleries in the Polish contemporary art scene. Thanks to the unconventional perspective and unique choices of its founder, Marta Kolakowska, the gallery has become a platform for collaboration, education and promotion of the art of a generation of artists, most of whom were formed after the political transformation in 1989. Their works are marked by a distinct expression, which can often be described as brutal or raw.

One of the most important values that LETO has developed over more than a decade of existence is the community that has formed around the gallery. Its goal is to build strong ties with people and a sense of integrity in each of its projects.
