A philosopher, born in 1960, with a doctorate, a professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, also practicing psychotherapy. He has published a philosophical dissertation „Freud’s Science in the Era of 'Sein und Zeit'”, a work on the history of Poland „The Dreamt Revolution, an Exercise in Historical Logic”, a dissertation on philosophical ideas in 20th-century Europe „A Scratch on the Surface. Theory in the Field of Psychoanalysis”, and „There Was Once Postmodernism”, as well as in English „The Changing Guise of Myths” and in German „Poland in Wakeful Dream. The Revolution 1939-1956 and Its Consequences”.

He teaches at the Graduate School of Social Sciences (GSSR) IFiS PAN, as well as at the University of Paris (Sorbonne). He lives in Warsaw.
