BIO

Suicidologist, psychologist, trainer – „To Be”, „Life is worth talking about”.

Within the framework of „To Be” (2be.edu.pl) and in cooperation with, among others, the Center for Education Development, the CBT Center, the ETOH Foundation, as well as teacher training centers and methodological centers from all over Poland, she conducts trainings for schools, educational institutions and various aid institutions on how to support young people with emotional and mental problems.

She is a member of the Polish Suicidological Society and the Working Group on Suicide and Depression Prevention at the Public Health Council of the Ministry of Health. She is involved in the implementation of the campaign „Life is worth talking about” (zwjr.pl), in which she conducts, among other things, consultations for schools and parents, as well as trainings, webinars. She is an expert of the Office for Suicide Prevention of the IPiN in Warsaw (zapobiegajmysamobojstwom.pl) and develops recommendations for schools on how to respond to suicide risk and conducts media monitoring.

She teaches at the M. Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw on intervention in suicidal crises and at the Managerial Academy of Social Sciences in Warsaw on the psychological basis of suicidal behavior, postvention and self-harm. She is co-author of the books Interventions after a suicide death – on the importance and need for postvention activities at school, Self-harm – understand to prevent, Crisis Intervention.
