A master’s degree in law, has been with the University Clinical Center since 2009, initially as deputy chief human resources officer and then, since November 2016, as chief executive officer. He is a lecturer at Lazarski University on MBA studies. He also teaches a course on „Telemedicine and Projects in Health Care” at the University of Gdansk. He is a member of the supervisory board of Tczew Hospitals, the District Health Center in Kartuzy, a member of the Tarification Council of AOTMiT, and is part of the Expert Council of the Patient Ombudsman. In November 2022, he became president of the Polish Union of Clinical Hospitals.

For his professional achievements, he was awarded the title of Manager of the Year 2019 in Healthcare in a competition organized by the medical publishing house Termedia. In 2021, he received the Portrait of Polish Medicine, a Health Market award given to individuals who have achieved significant success in, among other things, managing medical facilities. In 2022, the University Clinical Center was the winner of the „Management Leaders – Best Managed Public Hospitals” award in the „Institutes and Clinical Hospitals” category. As an expert and promoter of change in health care, Jakub Kraszewski participates in many conferences and workshops.
