Guido Vermeent is the Chief Executive Officer of Payconiq International, an ambitous Fintech Payment Service Provider. With smart payment solutions and a state-of-the-art cloudplatform, Payconiq continues to innovate and realize its vision: shaping the future of payments.

Guido gained his initial experience across various technology-focused sectors, eventually finding a leadership position at Thales (former Gemalto). As Vice President for Germany and Benelux, Guido was responsible for all business activities related to Digital Security in banking and payments.

With his passion for payment technology growing, Guido eventually founded Payconiq Netherlands in 2017. In less than 3 years, Payconiq was transformed from grassroots to a viable Payment Fintech. Payconiq pushed QR-code payments with a triple digit growth curve in 30,000 shops in the Netherlands and made mobile payments possible for more than 200.000 active users.
Continuing this momentum, Guido became CEO of Payconiq International, leading its growth across multiple geographies and revamping its strategy and operating model. With a newly established B2B/B2C hybrid business model, Guido aims for Payconiq to be a market leader, establishing trusted partnerships and working with major stakeholders across the payment landscape.

In addition to his ongoing work at Payconiq, Guido is focused on his family, contributing to EPA and his Lionsclub membership, helping to serve the local community of Utrecht, The Netherlands. Guido is also an avid runner, taking every opportunity to enjoy a sunrise run across peaceful nature. In combination with kickbox training twice a week, he tries to keep his body and mind in shape.
