Tomasz Szlendak – Professor, Director of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Sociologist of culture, social anthropologist. He researches, among other things, the transformation of customs and relations between generations. Awarded the silver medal „Meritorious for Culture Gloria Artis”. He has written more than a dozen books (including a historical detective story). His latest book, devoted to the transformations of romantic love, will be published this published this year by Wydawnictwo Otwarte.
