Psychologist, certified therapist and supervisor of behavioral-cognitive therapy. Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Law at SWPS University in Poznan.

As a therapist, he helps patients with neurosis, anxiety disorders, depression and relationship difficulties. He is also the founder of Fido, a chatbot providing psychological help to individuals and supporting the work of therapists and their patients.

Scientifically, he focuses on the problems of neuronal correlates of emotional experience and the relationship between emotions and cognitive processes. He investigates the neural mechanisms of the emergence, maintenance and treatment of psychological problems associated with too little or too much anxiety. He also analyzes the neural mechanisms and effectiveness of psychotherapeutic interventions.

Director and/or contractor in numerous research projects, author and co-author of numerous scientific articles on clinical psychophysiology and psychotherapy of anxiety and affective disorders, published in Personality and Individual Differences, International Journal of Psychophysiology, Social cognitive and affective neuroscience, among others.
