Thomas Nørmark is known as the Robot Whisperer and Father of Avatars. In his role as Global Head of Innovation at NTT DATA Business Solutions, Thomas has been involved in a wide number of AI projects all over the world, which gives him the ability to talk about new technologies of real experience, not only of theory. Over the past years Thomas has had a deep focus on replicating human behavior and appearance in technology and to understand the ethical aspects surrounding that goal.

In his TEDx speech, Thomas claims that he can predict the future. This time, on the Impact’23 stage during the Industry 5.0 track, he will talk about the use of Digital Humans and exponential technologies in manufacturing. He sees great potential in the evolution of AI and is convinced that digital assistants can increase customer engagement and user experience.
