BIO

Currently Chancellor at the Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznań, he is actively involved in key initiatives, including the project to construct the Central Integrated Clinical Hospital. He is also a member of the team of healthcare experts at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights.

Previously, he was associated for many years with the Clinical Hospital of the Lord’s Transfiguration at PUMS (now the University Clinical Hospital), where he served as Deputy Director. In this role, he was responsible for areas including clinical research and development projects.

He served as Deputy President of the Medical Research Agency and as a member of its Scientific Council. A graduate of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences, he also completed postgraduate studies in: Public Relations in Practice (Kozminski University in Warsaw), Financial Management (Poznań University of Economics), and an Executive MBA at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

He is a trainer in numerous courses focused on healthcare management, patient communication, and clinical research. His academic interests include public health, health promotion, as well as communication and public relations in healthcare.

He has collaborated with institutions such as the Marshal’s Office, the Greater Poland Center for Public Health, DGA S.A., and Termedia Medical Publishing. He is also the co-author and project leader of Wielkopolska Oncology, a health prevention and investment program funded by Norwegian grants (recognized at the European Public Health Conference).

Dr. Staszewski is the editor of books on healthcare system organization and the author of articles published in academic journals and textbooks. He is a board member of the Polish Society of Health Sciences.
