Deputy Chairman of the Medical Research Agency for research funding. Member of the team of health care experts at the Ombudsman. Previously affiliated with the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan for many years. Assistant Professor in the Department of Hypertensiology, Angiology and Internal Medicine and the Laboratory of Pharmacoeconomics of Hypertension. He served as Director General and member of the Board of Directors at the University of Medical Sciences in Poznan. He was also Deputy Director at the Transfiguration Clinical Hospital of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, where, among other things, he was responsible for the area of clinical research and development projects. He graduated from the Poznan Medical University. He also completed postgraduate studies in: Public Relations in Practice (Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw), Financial Management (Poznań University of Economics) and Executive Master of Business Administration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Served as a member of the Scientific Council of the Medical Research Agency.
Trainer in numerous trainings in the area of health care management, communication with patients and clinical research. Academically interested in public health, health promotion and communication and PR in health care. He has cooperated with the Marshal’s Office, the Wielkopolska Center for Public Health, DGA S.A., and Termedia Medical Publishing, among others. In addition, co-author and manager of the Wielkopolska Oncology project, a health prevention and investment program implemented with Norwegian funds (project awarded at the European Public Health Conference). Editor of three books on the problems of health care organization and author of works in academic journals and textbooks. Board member of the Polish Society of Health Sciences.
