Lawyer, Doctor of Laws, Professor at the University of Gdansk, Faculty of Law and Administration, UG Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation.

Her research specialization is financial market law, and her scientific interests include ̨ issues of financial market security, both domestic, European and international. She has been an expert for the European Commission, the international association European Forum of Deposit Insurers and the Financial Supervision Commission. She participated in the work of the Scientific Advisory Committee to the Financial Ombudsman as its vice-chair.

She has completed numerous scientific internships and teaching trips to UG partner universities from EU and non-EU countries under the Erasmus+ program. She was a fellow at the European University Institute in Florence and a visiting professor at a number of universities in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia.

She is vice-chair of the European University of the Seas alliance „European University of the Seas – SEA-EU” in which the University of Gdansk forms a consortium with 8 coastal universities from Cadiz, Brest, Kiel, Spilit, Malta, Algarve, Naples and Bodø.She is the first chairwoman of the newly established University Commission
Internationalization Commission of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities.
