Amit Malik is Associate Director in the Direct Equity Team at the EBRD and joined the Bank in 2019. He is responsible for equity investments in Financial Institutions, Payment Companies and Fintech and has led a number of investments across multiple geographies. He is passionate about Impact Investing and really enjoys identifying investment opportunities for EBRD to make an impact in Digitalisation of Financial Services.

Prior to joining the EBRD, he was Investment Director at Anacap Financial Partners, a Private Equity fund, focussed on the financial services sector in Europe. Prior to Anacap, he worked at BlackRock where he led a number of portfolio management and advisory mandates for large scale UK and European Financial Institutions, Central Banks and Regulators.

Amit has an MBA from INSEAD and an MS in Operations Research from SUNY Buffalo.
