Alicja Rybczyńska
Graduate of Computer Science at Zielona Góra University of Technology and of Business Management at Wrocław University of Technology. She also completed postgraduate studies in accounting at the Poznań University of Economics and pedagogical studies at the Zielona Góra University of Technology.

She started her professional career right after graduation at TRAX S.A., where she was employed as a HR and payroll systems implementation specialist (1997-1999). There, she was responsible, among others, for supervising the development of the PERS/400 system for companies such as Coca Cola Polska, Zakład Naprawczy Taboru Kolejowego in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Energetyka Beskidzka in Bielsko-Biała and Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej in Wrocław.

In subsequent years, she worked as an IT specialist at Dalkia Poznań S.A. (1999-2006). There, she was responsible for administering the company’s management system and the AS/400 database server. Thanks to her continuously developing skills, she was promoted to the position of IT systems coordinator and moved to Dalkia Services Sp. z o.o. (2006-2008). There she coordinated the work of a team of more than 40 people implementing projects related to, among other things, the preparation and implementation of cybersecurity policy.

At a later stage of her career, thanks to her efficient management and professional successes, she took the position of the CIO and member of the board in Dalkia Polska Group (2008-2013). As part of her duties, she was responsible for the work of a 70 people team dealing with: Help Desk, Controlling, IT security and architecture, as well as the implementation of systems such as Oracle BES, Teta, Mona, Maximo, as well as the process of taking over the IT infrastructure of the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the newly established Data Centre in Poland.

Prior to joining the Veolia Group, she served as CIO and board member of Enea Centrum Sp. z o.o. (2014-2018). There, she was responsible for the work of a team of more than 200 people, which dealt with the comprehensive management of IT systems of 14 Group companies. As part of her work at the aforementioned company, she supervised projects such as the implementation of the Shared Services Centre, data migration, SAP and IFC implementation, as well as the process of centralising the ICT infrastructure.

She has been with the Veolia Group since 2018. She currently serves as the Group’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), where she oversees the work of a team of more than 100 people in charge of IT architecture and project management, cybersecurity, and quality and continuous improvement of the Group’s digitisation business processes. As part of her work at the Veolia Group, she was responsible for the implementation of Agile, cloud solutions (AWS, GCP), SATAWAD and the standardisation of business processes using the ARIS tool.
