BIO

Thomas is a true, all-around entrepreneur. With his broad educational background in Psychology, Physics and Astronomy, his extensive skill set, and his social aptitude for networking and bridge-building, he has been able to effortlessly blend his passion with his purpose: leading companies, create opportunities, and innovate products that improve the everyday lives of a new generation.

In 2013, after working as a strategy consultant for a boutique firm, Thomas founded his first company, Poopy Cat, a company that developed innovative cat products. After acquiring capital, he was able to expand operations to 18 countries, selling products in 33 countries. Poopy Cat’s praised marketing approach reached tens of millions, and included features in Oprah Winfrey’s 'O’, Italian Vogue, CNN, and BBC. In 2017, he sold the company to the Dutch market leader in the pet industry. The brand is still in stores today.

With the earnings of his first exit, Thomas started BlueBottle Ventures in 2017 to invest and offer advice to startups and scaleups. He also teaches entrepreneurship as guest lecturer on various schools and universities. He was involved in a number of other startups, including wedoido and mycapa.city. Thomas became managing director of the Dutch Startup Association early 2020, where he actively contributed to the startup and scaleup ecosystem by creating a sharing community between companies, improving the investment climate and promoting pro-entrepreneurial legislation to political stakeholders.

Early 2021, Thomas was recruited by Investcorp, Rabobank and Luxor Capital backed Ageras as CEO of Tellow, one of their seven companies. His mission was to turnaround the scaleup and regain growth to the company. Thomas grew recurring revenue 50% in 2021 and over 70% in 2022, pushing the company into profitability. Early 2023, he was promoted to CRO of the mother company, Ageras. He will drive the integration between all revenue-related functions in all seven companies operation in 12 countries across Europe and America, including marketing, sales, user activation, pricing, and revenue management.

Thomas enjoys creating and improving scaleups and ventures, as well as advising and investing in startups. His unique and personal approach creates lasting relationships with both teams and stakeholders, and as a founder and entrepreneur, he is able to transfer his drive, energy, and enthusiasm to those within his sphere.
