Piotr Korycki is the President of the Management Board of Polpharma Biologics S.A. and the Managing Director of the Polpharma Biologics Group. The biotechnology company Polpharma Biologics is engaged in the development and manufacturing of biological drugs. For over 13 years, it has been conducting research and development activities on an unprecedented scale in the Polish biotechnology sector. Consistently, it invests not only in laboratories and production lines but also in know-how, creating highly specialized jobs and fostering collaboration between science and business.

Thanks to the use of modern cell line development platforms, Polpharma Biologics develops biosimilar products for the treatment of a range of diseases in significant therapeutic areas: neurological, immunological, and ophthalmic diseases. Compared to other companies, Polpharma Biologics stands out with its ability to conduct the full process of developing a biological drug: from cell line development, through the development of analytical methods, the characterization of the process, to the production of the active substance on an industrial scale. Finished drugs are introduced to the market in collaboration with the largest global pharmaceutical companies.

Polpharma Biologics employs a team of nearly 1000 specialists. The company has three modern centers: a Development and Production Center in Gdańsk, a Development and Production Center in Warsaw-Duchnice, and a Cell Line Development Center in Utrecht, the Netherlands. These centers can be counted among the most advanced facilities of this type in Europe.

The first of the drugs produced by Polpharma Biologics received approval for distribution from the FDA, EMA, MHRA.
