BIO

Automotive stylist, coordinating one of the body design teams at Audi in Ingolstadt.

Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and the Faculty of Automotive Design at Scoula Politechnica di Design in Milan.

Over the last 15 years at Audi, he has been responsible for the design of Audi models such as the Audi e-tron concept (premiere in Frankfurt 2009) and the Audi e-tron Quattro Concept (premiere in Frankfurt 2015).

He is of the opinion that to be a good designer one should not be limited to just one area of design. That is why he tries to work more holistically. He is the co-author of the EDOMI concept of modern single-family houses, for the design of which he was awarded a bronze statuette at the A’Design Award 2014 in Como, Italy.

In his free time, he also composes electronic music. His works under the artistic name 'Cameal’ were released in 2014 this year by a Munich-based music label.

He believes that in his life, the three fields of automotive design, architecture and music perfectly complement, intermingle and inspire each other.

Born in 1981 in Tychy, during his architectural studies he had already participated in international car design competitions. He received honors in some: Stile Italiano giovani 2004, New Face of Kia 2005, and in 2006 Micra – avant-garde variations of the next generation. During his internship at the German Audi Group, he created the Audi R8 TDI project, which premiered at the 2008 Detroit show. This effort resulted in an offer of a permanent position as one of the body designers. Since then Kamil has been working on the development of cutting-edge car models.

As Leading Designer, he developed the designs of Audi e-Tron car models and the latest Audi e-Tron Quattro SUV, which is currently awaiting its release. He collaborated on the design of the Audi A3 S-line, Audi S3 (2011) and Audi S8 (2012). His work incorporates modern methods of automation, electrification and artificial intelligence to influence the design of cars.

His main preoccupation is car design, but he is still involved in architecture to a lesser extent – he co-created the „EDOMI” house project with modern design, which received a bronze statuette in the A’Design Award in Italy. The first such house has already been built in Tychy.
