Vice-President of the Management Board of the Bank, supervises the Technology and Operations Division.

He has been professionally involved with the Pekao S.A. Capital Group since 2004. From 2018 to 2021 he held the position of Board Proxy for Transformation and then also Board Proxy for Strategy, responsible, among other things, for overseeing digital and operations and for leading the work on the Bank’s Strategy. From 2017 to 2018, he headed the Bank’s Transformation and Services Division managing, among other things, IT Operations. From 2010- 2017 as Member of the Management Board of Pekao Leasing, he was responsible for IT, Operations, Insurance, Customer Service, among others.

Between 2004 and 2010, he held managerial positions in the Corporate Banking Division, including participation in the preparatory work for the merger of Bank Pekao and Bank BPH.

Prior to joining Pekao, he worked at the consulting firm McKinsey in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, was a researcher at the Universities of Frankfurt/Oder and Giessen, Germany, and gained professional experience at Dresdner Bank. He has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Centrum Kart S.A. since 2017. From 2017 until August 2020, he sat on the Supervisory Board of Pekao Financial Services Sp. o.o. serving as Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the Supervisory Board. He was reappointed to the Supervisory Board of Pekao Financial Services Sp. z o.o. in March 2021 and currently serves as Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board.

He holds a doctorate in economics and is also a graduate of the Faculty of Sciences Economics at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). He has completed a number of national and international training courses and programmes, including Unifuture in cooperation with the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
