BIO

Paulina Stochniałek – Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region, politician, entrepreneur, trainer. Initiator of actions on civic education and knowledge about local government. Supporter of women’s development and rights. Born in Poznań, a graduate of the School of Banking with a degree in Finance and Accounting, and Adam Mickiewicz University with a degree in Marketing and Management, holding an MBA title. Professionally, she is an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.

Throughout her career, she has been a finance and HR director in an international corporation, the chief accountant at the largest clinical hospital in Wielkopolska, a lecturer at a higher education institution, and in recent years, the CEO of an IT company. People are at the center of her interests, and she views local government as a service to the residents of the region.

In 2018, she was elected to the Wielkopolska Regional Assembly for the years 2018-2023 by the votes of the electorate from the Civic Coalition list. Since July 2020, she has served as a Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region, responsible for the departments of Health, Education and Science, and the local government unit: Regional Social Policy Center in Poznań. She believes that local government politics involves, among other things, responsibility for creating pro-social attitudes and actions for local communities.

Therefore, her activities clearly support initiatives such as the promotion of social economy – the local government brand „Klunkry”, the implementation of the Kulczyk Foundation’s „Career Cycle” program at the Marshal’s Office, and the initiation of the „Building Civil Society” series. She is involved in launching a Wielkopolska health policy program for treating infertility through in vitro fertilization for the residents of the region. In her daily work, the human aspect is very important. Currently, in healthcare, she promotes the slogan „Medical Services Client”, who deserves care, empathy, and comprehensive assistance.

On a daily basis, she supervises the work of over twenty healthcare units, focusing on technological progress, psychological awareness, and current medical trends. She participates in many debates addressing social problems, education, women’s rights, and their role in contemporary Europe. Promoting the thesis to „include rather than exclude”.
