Polana Institute, founded by curators Marika Zamojska and Justyna Wesolowska in 2016, combines the functions of an art institution, a gallery and an education and research department. Glade focuses on international networking and a wide range of art activities. Two main themes of their work are programming the future of visual arts and nature as a metaphor for political consciousness and artistic resistance. Glade curates exhibitions and off-site projects, and co-organizes the Hotel Warsaw Art Fair, a regular event where Warsaw art galleries take over hotel rooms at the Hotel Warsaw.
