Manager with thirty years of experience in the energy sector, gained among others in public companies. Expert in energy, economics and business management. Electrical engineer, doctor of economic sciences specializing in the field of energy and gas trade.

He began his career in the energy industry in 1994 at the Upper Silesian Power Company. Later he worked in key managerial positions in companies and capital groups: Vattenfall (2000-2010), Tauron (2010-2013), Enea (2013-2016), PKP Energetyka (2017-2018) and Veolia Group (2018-2024), in the latter serving, among others, as a member of the board of Veolia Energy Contracting Poland. He has extensive experience in corporate restructuring, strategy implementation and management of complex projects and organizations. His most important achievements include: the implementation of the strategy of the trade and customer service area and the creation and centralization of energy and gas trading in the Veolia Group, the centralization of energy and fuel trading and the creation of a shared services center and the organization of strategic acquisitions in the Enea Group, the creation of energy trading and sales structures in PKP Energetyka (now PGE Energetyka Kolejowa), as well as a number of projects in the field of implementing commercial products in the area of energy and gas, optimization and the creation of differentiated sales and customer service channels.

He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, and with a master’s degree from the Faculty of Organization and Management at this university, majoring in management and marketing (specialization: business management). In addition, he completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Dominican University in Chicago, international management and marketing studies at Brno University of Technology, management and finance studies at the University of Economics in Katowice, as well as postgraduate studies in financial and project management. He received his Doctor of Economic Sciences degree from the University of Szczecin.

Practitioner, combining many years of professional experience with science. Academic teacher, assistant professor in the Department of Management at the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Author of more than 50 scientific publications in economics and management and quality sciences. His research interests include processes related to sustainable development and decarbonization in the context of changes in efficiency and competitiveness of energy companies, as well as organizational management using cognitive technologies, networking and mobility.
President of the Board of Directors of PAEE – Polish Affiliate of IAEE (International Association for Energy Economics, based in Cleveland) – an organization of experts in the energy sector. He is a member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, headquartered in New York) – an international scientific and technical organization of professionals in the electrical and electronics industry and related fields. He is a member of the Polish Electricity Committee, the Society for Energy Trading and the Polish Economic Society.
