Agnieszka Chłoń-Domińczak, PhD, Professor at SGH is a vice-rector for science and director of the Institute of Statistics and Demography at the Warsaw School of Economics. Member of the Committee on Demographic Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences, leader of the SHARE 50+ Polish research group. In 2008-2009, she was the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy; she also sat on the Supervisory Board of the Social Insurance Institution and was a member of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Between 2007 and 2009, she was vice-chair of the Social Protection Committee of the European Council. From 2010 to 2017, at the Educational Research Institute, she managed projects related to the preparation of the implementation of the Polish Qualifications Framework. She specializes in demography, pension systems, labour market, social policy, health and education.
