Dariusz Szymczak is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM), the Postgraduate Diploma in Banking at the Poznań University of Economics (now the University of Economics) and the Institut für Mittelstandsforschung der Universität Mannheim. He has extensive experience in the area of the energy industry, including the operation of the regulated electricity market and related market trends. He was a member of the board of directors of Enea Centrum from 2018 to 2022, from January 2020 to June 2022 – as CEO of the company.

He is a management specialist with an extensive track record of carrying out restructuring as well as development processes. He also has many years of experience related to supervisory duties; he is a member of numerous supervisory boards of state and local government companies. As a legal advisor, he has also conducted numerous proceedings before regulatory authorities (URE, UOKiK), as well as before the International Court of Arbitration in Paris.

As a Poznań resident, he has always recognised and tried to raise the value of corporate social responsibility directed towards the development of regional needs and investments.
