Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, responsible for innovation, industry and digital policy. Eglė Markevičiūtė received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Vilnius University. Previously, she worked as a lobbyist and as a policy and public relations consultant. In 2011 she co-founded European Students For Liberty, an organization dedicated to economic education in Europe.
