BIO

Doctor of Humanities, graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and History at the University of Łódź. Since October 2014, she has been the director of the CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw.

In 2004-06 she was a journalist in the Łódź editorial office of „Gazeta Wyborcza”. In 2006, she became the director of the Łódź Biennale 2006 (2nd edition of the International Art Biennale), and a year later she created the first design and architecture festival in Poland – Łódź Design, of which she was also the director. Lecturer in the history of art and cultural dissemination at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (2007-10). Author of critical texts published in specialist magazines on art and culture: „Obieg”, „Arteon” and „Kresy”.

From 2008, she was deputy director of the largest institution dedicated to modern art in Poland, the Museum of Art in Łódź. In 2014, she won the competition for director of the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw.

She is the curator of exhibitions, including „C.D.N.” as part of the Dialogue of Four Cultures Festival in 2008 and 'Correspondences. Modern Art and Universalism” at the Museum of Art in Łódź (together with Jarosław Lubiak).
