Martyna Wojciechowska is a journalist, traveler, and social activist involved in human rights. She is the founder of the UNAWEZA Foundation, which works to equalize opportunities for women and children in Poland and around the world. She is the initiator of the project „YOUNG MINDS. Opening up about mental health.” Martyna is also the author of many reports, documentaries, and bestselling books.

In 2023, she was recognized by „Forbes” magazine as the „Most Valuable Polish Star” according to the Influence Power Index, ranking first in the list. She is appreciated for her credibility and perceived as a strong female figure and an example of overcoming life’s adversities.

Martyna Wojciechowska has been associated with TVN television since 1998 (now Warner Bros Discovery). For 15 years, she has been creating her own travel series „Woman at the End of the World,” which has been broadcasted in many countries. This documentary series tells the stories of inspiring women from different corners of the globe. Over 100 episodes have been produced, airing in 56 different countries on 6 continents. Martyna is also the author of documentary films and was awarded the Golden Nymph at the Monte Carlo festival for the documentary film „Ghosts People” about people with albinism in Tanzania.

For 10 years, she served as the editor-in-chief of the Polish editions of „National Geographic” and „National Geographic Traveler” magazines.

Martyna Wojciechowska is a lover of adventure and constant exploration of the world. She has conquered the Seven Summits, including Mount Everest just 1.5 years after breaking her spine. She is also the first and only woman from Poland to complete the Dakar Rally. She holds licenses as a parachutist and technical deep-sea diver. She is also a member of The Explorers Club. She combines all these achievements with the role of a mother to a teenager and an adopted daughter from Kabul, a girl with albinism who was the protagonist of her documentary film from Tanzania in 2014. Through her actions and determination, she inspires and proves to the world that impossible is not a reality and strength can take on a feminine form.
