BIO

Zuzanna Rudzińska-Bluszcz, born on April 30, 1982, in Warsaw, is a Deputy Minister, a human rights lawyer, and a legal advisor, previously an attorney-at-law.

From 2021 to 2023, she served as the President of the ClientEarth Lawyers for the Earth Foundation. From 2015 to 2021, she was the main coordinator for strategic legal proceedings at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights. She ran as a candidate for the position of the Commissioner for Human Rights three times (2020-2021).

Previously, she worked for ten years in law firms, deeply involved in various human rights lawsuits, including freedom of speech, rights of persons with disabilities, and discrimination. She also served as a judge at the Higher Disciplinary Court of Advocacy and was a member of the Women’s Team at the Supreme Bar Council.

Zuzanna is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration, and she also studied Applied Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw and at Cardiff Law School in the United Kingdom. In 2011, she completed her attorney apprenticeship. Currently, she is registered as a legal advisor. She is an alumna of the Leadership Academy for Poland (2017), Marshall Memorial Fellowship (2019), and Leaders Europe: Obama Foundation Fellowship (2020).
