BIO

Graduate of the Faculty of Management and the Interdepartmental Pedagogical Study at the Poznań University of Economics. In 2008, he defended his doctoral thesis titled Shaping communication processes among trade fair participants, and in December 2019 he received a doctoral degree in social sciences in the discipline of management and quality sciences. From December 2020 to September 2022, he worked as a university professor at the Institute of Marketing, Department of Marketing Strategies at the Poznań University of Economics.

His academic work focuses on business relationships (member of IMP Group), which he has studied from the perspective of trust, knowledge sharing and adaptation. Current research is on the role and importance of new technologies (AI, IoT) in B2B relationships. As a manager of three research grants and a member of numerous projects (including NCBiR), he has gained experience in managing research teams.

He is the supervisor of more than 150 undergraduate degrees and supervisor of more than 170 postgraduate theses. He has given lectures and exercises at full-time and part-time first and second degree programs, postgraduate programs and MBA programs (head of the Marketing and Sales Management module in the Executive MBA program and Marketing Management and Strategy in the MBA Atlanta program at Poznań University of Economics).

He gained international experience during numerous internships in foreign academic centers under Erasmus programs (including France, Belgium, Italy and Germany). As a Visiting Professor, he interned and taught at Meiji University (Tokyo, Japan), ESCP (Berlin, Germany), ELTE (Budapest, Hungary) and SRH Hochschule (Heidelberg, Germany).

Marek Zielinski successfully combines his scientific career with business. For more than 20 years, he has provided consulting and training services and conducted research projects for companies operating in the B2B market. He has managed training and consulting programs.
In his spare time he is interested in backpacking, yoga, BJJ, scuba diving, jazz, basketball and SF literature.
