Colonel Marcin Mazur is the Vice President of the Polish Space Agency, where he is responsible for the area of activities related to security and defense, particularly focusing on the development of dual-use services and technologies for both military and civilian purposes. This includes Earth observation satellite systems (EO), satellite communication systems (SATCOM), space monitoring, and launch technologies.

Colonel Mazur graduated from the Military University of Technology in Warsaw in 2003 with a degree in topography and cartography. He began his career as a geospatial reconnaissance officer in the 6th Independent Geographic Division in Toruń. He then served in the NATO Allied Joint Force Command in Brunssum (Netherlands) in the Geospatial Support Section, as well as an officer in the Image Analysis Section at the Military Geographic Centre in Warsaw. In 2012, he was assigned to the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, in the Image Reconnaissance Department, where he was responsible for the development of image reconnaissance in the Polish Armed Forces. In 2021, he was appointed as Vice President of the Polish Space Agency.
