Rafał Kazimierz Trzaskowski (born January 17, 1972, in Warsaw) is a Polish politician, political scientist, local government official, and academic teacher, specializing in European affairs, with a doctoral degree in humanities.

He served as a Member of the European Parliament during the VII term (2009–2013), Minister of Administration and Digitization from 2013 to 2014, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2014 to 2015, Member of the Sejm during the VIII term (2015–2018), and since 2018, the Mayor of the capital city of Warsaw. Since 2020, he has been the Vice Chairman of the Civic Platform party. He was a candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Poland in the second round of the 2020 elections.
