Dr. hab. n. med. Agnieszka Mastalerz-Migas is a professor at the Wrocław Medical University and the head of the Department of Family Medicine. She specializes in family medicine. Since 2019, she has served as the president of the Polish Society of Family Medicine, and since 2020, she has been the national consultant in the field of family medicine.

Since December 2022, she has been the authorized representative of the Minister of Health for the implementation of coordinated care in Primary Health Care (PHC) and leads the ministerial team for the implementation of such care. In the years 2021-2022, she led the team for changes in PHC, which prepared the reform of PHC and the implementation of coordinated care.

She is also a member of the Presidium of the Experts’ Council at the Patient Rights Ombudsman. She serves as the editor-in-chief of the educational journal „Lekarz POZ” aimed at primary healthcare physicians and is the deputy editor of the journal „Family Medicine & Primary Care Review” (0.7 IF).

Additionally, she lectures and organizes numerous training sessions for family physicians and PHC. She is the author or co-author of many recommendations for family physicians and promotes preventive actions and vaccinations. She has authored or co-authored many educational materials in the form of guidelines, webinars, and communications addressing important health issues in the practice of family physicians/PHC.
