Ozan Sonmez is a Partner at Molten Ventures, specializing in Central and Eastern Europe. The Molten Ventures CEE fund focuses on investing in early-stage companies, particularly in the enterprise SaaS and digital marketplace sectors.

Before joining Molten, Ozan worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management Alternatives in London and Istanbul, where he led growth equity and structured equity deals in the EMEA region. He also has experience working at Turkven Private Equity and McKinsey & Company.

Ozan’s investment experience spans various sectors, including e-commerce and digital marketplaces, mobility, fintech, online travel, and telecom infrastructure in the tech and telecom space. He has also worked in non-tech sectors such as F&B, healthcare, energy infrastructure, financial institutions, and apparel retail.

Ozan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (13) and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Bogazici University in Istanbul (08).
