Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics. He also completed his studies at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. He has participated in numerous training courses for top executives, including Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management and Chicago GSB (Booth School of Business).

Co-founder of Fintechs. Expert in business process management. Long-time CEO of financial institutions. As of May 2020, he co-founded Trasti, an insurtech and digital insurer created in joint venture with Triglav DD and Swiss Re, where he also served as CEO. He has been associated with the insurance market, among others, in both the private and public domains.

He began his professional path already during his studies in 1993, first as an associate of the Center for Social and Economic Analysis (CASE) research foundation, where he worked on a project for the World Bank, among others. He then took a position as an analyst at the consulting firm PIM, working on financial analyses in the privatization processes of the pharmaceutical industry in Poland. During his studies at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien in 1995, he first encountered the insurance market in an international environment. The program included internships and meetings at branches of major European companies operating in Vienna.

He spent many years with the Generali Group, working his way through all career levels and different areas of responsibility, starting from the position of manager, through department director, board member, vice president, until he was offered the position of Group president in Poland in 2010. During this period, he underwent numerous specialized training courses and was the first Pole to attend the Value of Knowledge program for top executives within the international structures of the Generali Group. During his presidency in Poland, Generali’s Polish companies were twice, in 2012 and 2013, awarded within the group for financial performance and business value growth. In 2010- 2014, he served as the leader of the multinational, multicultural and diversified Generali Group management in Poland.

In 2014, he entered the public domain and SOEs. He was invited by the management of the Postal Group to create and lead Postal Insurance using his experience and expertise. Within just four months of its establishment and licensing, the life company Pocztowe Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie began operations. At the same time, his team reorganized the operations of the property company, Postal Mutual Insurance Company, changing its structure and modernizing it toward a multi-brand business model.

In 2016, he and his team of managers founded his first fintech company – hiPRO Ltd. The company combines banking and insurance processes, optimizing insurance premium fintech by integrating professional lending institutions and banks with the sales ecosystems of insurers and multiagents, as well as offering tools directly to individual agents and customers.

In 2020, he founded a so-called „digital insurer” in Poland, HPI GMA sp. z o.o., together with other banking and insurance sector managers. On the basis of Freedom of Service (FOS) and the Triglav license, HPI GMA sp. z o.o. – operating under the Trasti brand, began selling motor insurance, mainly through digital channels.

He has served on several supervisory boards in Polish financial institutions and pension funds, serving as an independent member in public sector and listed companies. From 2017 to 2018, he served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Mabion S.A., an innovative drug manufacturer. In 2016, he joined the Supervisory Board of Ciech S.A., where he still serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

In recent years, he has actively participated in prestigious scientific and program boards in the Polish financial market. From 2014 to 2023, he was a member of the program boards of the FinTech Congress and Big Data Congress, which are among the largest annual conferences of the fintech sector, and served as Chairman of the Program Board of the Insurance Forum, the largest commercial conference of the insurance market.

In March 2023, he was invited to join the Program Council of EKF Insurance, a conference organized as part of the prestigious European Financial Congress. He serves as a member of the chapter of the Leaders of the Banking and Insurance World, which awards annual prizes to the best banks and insurance companies.
