Paulina Piechna-Więckiewicz has been appointed as the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of National Education. She graduated with a law degree from the University of Warsaw.

From 2001 to 2017, she was a member of the Democratic Left Alliance, where she also served as vice-chairperson. She completed three terms on the City Council of Warsaw. In 2019, she joined the Spring party founded by Robert Biedroń. Since 2021, she has been the vice-chairperson of the New Left. In her activities, she focuses on educational, labor, municipal, and equality issues.
