An experienced journalist, presenter, and programming director, Maria has been associated with Espresso TV, a Ukrainian television channel established during the events of the Maidan, since 2013. Until February 2022, she hosted „Week with Maria Górska,” summarizing the most important events in the country, and co-hosted „Saturday Political Club” with Vitaliy Portnikov.

Maria has been involved in many cultural events significant to Polish-Ukrainian dialogue for years. For the first six months following the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, she hosted a wartime program on Espreso from Lviv.

In September 2022, shortly after the birth of her younger daughter, she moved with her family to Poland. Here too, she actively engages in democratic initiatives. She believes in a European Ukraine where free media and human rights are protected, and totalitarianism and dictatorship remain only in history textbooks.
