Professor at the University of Warsaw, lecturer at the Faculty of Sociology at UW, curator at the Institute of Political Critique, founder of the Dialogue Field Foundation. He specializes in the sociology of politics and public life. He studies the relations between the state and society in the areas of various public policies.

In recent years, he has published the book „State, School, Classes”, with Sławomir Sierakowski the widely discussed reports „Political Cynicism of Poles” and „The End of the Hegemony of 500 Plus”, and with Sylwia Urbańska a series of sociological reports from the state of emergency zone „Strangers in Our Country”.

In the report „The Missed Revolution” prepared with Alicja Dańkowska, he described the results of ClientEarth co-funded research regarding the social situation in the Bełchatów region on the threshold of the energy transition.
