Maja Rutkowska is a member of the extended Management Board of the Amica Group and is responsible for HR, Corporate Communication, and CSR. The Amica Group is the largest Polish producer of household appliances, operating in over 50 markets worldwide and employing over 3000 people. With its headquarters in Wronki and Poznań, the company is a significant employer in the region. Maja also sits on the Boards of Directors of the French and Danish branches of the Group.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Goethe University in Frankfurt on the Main and a master’s degree in economics from the Poznań University of Economics.

Her professional path at Amica began in the purchasing department, then she took over the HR management department. Also responsible for ESG strategies, Maja emphasizes the importance of sustainable development and responsible business practices. She initiates and implements all social activities of the group, focusing in particular on supporting mental health, promoting sports, and education for children, youth, and adults. Amica closely cooperates with kindergartens, schools, and universities in the Poznań and Greater Poland region.

Maja advocates for bold and authentic leadership. She is convinced that the effectiveness of the team and the engagement of employees in achieving business goals depend on cooperation based on respect and continuous personal development.

Her father, Jacek Rutkowski, holds the majority shares in the Amica Group and has been the President of the Management Board for the last two decades. Since 2006, he has been the owner of the Polish football club Lech Poznań, and in 2019, he transferred shares in the company to his children, Maja and Piotr, and since then, Maja has been a minority shareholder and sits on the Supervisory Board of the club.
