BIO
A writer, public speaker and disability rights advocate working in the advertising industry. Patrick became a triple amputee after contracting meningococcal septicaemia when he was 9 months old and became the youngest person in the world to be fitted with a bionic arm in 2010. Since then, he has devoted his time to speaking and writing about the role technology plays in the shaping perceptions of disability.
His first book, Human 2.0, is a celebration of human bionics and was named by The Times as one of 2023’s best books for children. In 2024, it was the winner of the Information Book Award by the School Library Association.
