Anna Kupiecka

BIO
Founder, founder and president of the OnkoCafe Foundation – Together Better, active since 2014. The foundation was created as a continuation of the informal support group “Fakraczki,” which she founded in 2012 on Facebook, after her own experience with cancer – she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. The goal of the Foundation is to support cancer patients and promote health education.
Anna Kupiecka also serves as vice president of the National Federation of Oncology, is a member of the Patients’ Council of the Patient Ombudsman and sits on the Program Council of the Academy for the Development of Patient Organizations PACJENCI.PRO. She has co-authored guidebooks and scientific papers in the field of oncology, and has initiated numerous educational campaigns to raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment.
As part of her social activities, Anna Kupiecka implements various educational projects aimed at both oncology patients and the healthy part of society. Among other things, she was the coordinator of the “Give Hair” campaign of the Rak’n’Roll Foundation, which supports people after chemotherapy, and for years has been actively involved in public consultations on oncology care in Poland, cooperating with experts and scientific institutions.
Educated as an early childhood education teacher, she graduated from the Teacher’s College in Rembertów.
