BIO

Lawyer, leader and expert with experience in management and development and implementation of communication and business strategies. She has experience gained in international organizations (leading global law firms, non-profit organizations, consulting, pharma, finance). Lidia has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw, expanding her knowledge in postgraduate studies at this university and at the University of Economics in Wroclaw. While still a student, she completed an internship at the renowned Polish law firm Hunton & Williams. She then took a position at the Ford Foundation, where she was responsible for the organization’s grantmaking programs in the Central and Eastern European region. She then joined the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe, where she was responsible for managing the CEE Trust, overseeing the organization’s legal and financial activities, as well as planning, implementing and monitoring the CEE Trust’s programs conducted in Poland and abroad.

From 2008 to 2012, she served as strategic advisor to the Prime Minister on public administration, state-citizen relations, social dialogue, big data and the digital agenda. She is co-author of the Poland 2030 Report and the “Long-term Strategy for National Development.” From 2014 to 2021, she was head of Public Affairs, Communications and HR at Pelion, the largest company in the health care sector in Poland. For three years she served as Vice President of the Energy Forum.

She currently holds the position of Executive Director of Sponsorship at Orlen S.A.
