LR Vandy’s sculptures combine found and crafted materials, such as rope, metal, and model boat hulls. Her work explores themes of trade, migration, and identity, reimagining the female form and ancestral symbols. She has shown regularly at October Gallery, London, since 2019, as well as Frieze Sculpture, the International Slavery Museum, National Museums Liverpool and The Artist’s Garden at Temple Place. LR Vandy lives in London and works in Chatham, UK.
