BIO

Head of Data Driven Solutions at the Polish branch of Mastercard Europe.

He is responsible for the development of Mastercard’s data-driven products and platforms for various audiences, including retailers, banks and financial institutions, as well as the public sector, among others. He also supports consumers in making informed purchasing decisions by providing valuable information based on data-driven trend analysis.
The team he leads helps the public sector implement data-driven projects that allow public administrations to more effectively track economic trends and significant changes in the area of tourism, for example. Currently, their work is focused on integrating data sources and building comprehensive solutions to ensure their multidimensional analysis and better understanding of trends, as well as designing corresponding solutions.

Marek Kolano joined Mastercard in 2015. Initially, as Data Insight Manager, he was in charge of developing the Priceless Moments loyalty platform. Subsequently, all of Mastercard’s data-driven solutions came under his care. Prior to joining Mastercard, Marek worked in the retail sector, in the commercial and financial industry and in the field of consumer research.

Marek Kolano is a graduate in psychology from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. In 2009, he earned a doctorate in this field from Warsaw’s SWPS University.
