
Piotr Arak
Director of the Polish Economic Institute
Macroeconomic analyst, director and co-founder of the Polish Economic Institute, previously worked at Deloitte, the Policy Insight think tank, the United Nations Development Programme, the Ministry of Administration and Digitisation and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. He holds a PhD in social sciences from the University of Warsaw and previously completed a master’s degree in social policy and a postgraduate degree in statistics. He also holds an MBA from the Warsaw School of Economics and Université du Québec à Montréal. He has participated in advanced management programmes at the Harvard Kennedy School. His research focuses on macroeconomics, sustainable development and social indicators.
