Dr. Marek Dietl is an assistant professor at the Warsaw School of Economics and board member and expert of a think-tank Sobieski Institute. He earned his PhD at the Institute of Economics, Polish Academy of Sciences. Marek Dietl was a Junior Fellow at the University of Glasgow and visiting fellow at the University of Essex.
 
Beside academic activities, Marek  Dietl has extended business experience which he gathered while working for international strategy consultancy and in the venture capital industry. He has also sat on the supervisory boards of fifteen companies ranging from spin-offs and start-ups through small and medium sized manufacturing and service companies to listed large companies and a bank. On September 26th, 2017 appointed President of GPW Management Board.
